Hi,

I am making a book in Blurb, once I convert the photos I'm using to Blurb's color profile, check the "black point compensation" and "simulate paper color" boxes it looks really faded and it takes me forever to correct the colors, etc. Can I load the Blurb profile in the raw converter and do my corrections that way? Any suggestions appreciated.

I don't know anything about Blurb so maybe this info is totally useless.

I don't think you can import any information into ACR, you have the 4 workspaces and that's it.
What you can do, is to do most of the editing including black point, and white balance in ACR and save the settings as a preset.
You can save some or all these presets in ARC and apply the same adjustments to all your images.
That may reduce greatly your work in Blurb.

Steve, Black point for press and photo are not interchangeable.

hmunster123, why not bring the RAWs as smart objects, convert the result to the profile, and edit the raws to counter the color changes.
Then, you can apply the Camera Raw changes in Bridge to the other files, create an action that converts to the profile, and make a batch operation on a copy of the files, using tools>photoshop>image processor.

Way to go, Steve!
Sorry if I may sound a bit scolar-ish or harsh, it might be the language translation!
