Can provide me with a little help please

Hey guys im trying to figure out a way to enhance my star map for my game. wondering if someone could give some suggustions.
it just doesnt look up to date and crisp

also how would I go about in making a gold bar, like the color of a gold coin for an example

i would suggest fading out some parts of the sky and having more black. i dont think the sky is that starry. secondly did you use noise filter to get the star filled sky, if it is possible use a brush with fade settings to get a better look.

Try doing several layers with varying sizes and colours of the stars, just to give depth to the image.
You can always pull a corner in or out to get the correct sizing from each layer you require, make some of the star bigger than others, just to give it realism.

i think you need to reduce the amount of small stars
