cannot save files

When I try to save an image in Photoshop, sometimes I get an error message
"Cannot save file name.psd because the file is already in use or was left open.
CS5, MacOS 10.6.6

Like PS said..... you may have a file in the folder with the same name

OR

you are trying to overwrite a file that is still open in PS.

Your problem happens to me sometimes..... If it persists, save the file in a different folder.... restart PS.

I dunno... but it's like a bug in a PS..... never addressed.
