I have a question please Gurus.

I need to pull the centre of a image up towards the screen a bit like looking from above down onto a big top circus tent, what would you suggest as the best approach please?

If I am thinking this right wont the pinch filter under distort do what you need however the squarer the pic probably the better the results.

Not really does what i need mate, i tried that first.

displacing it with maybe with an actual image of a circus top tent or maybe the liquify bloat\pucker tool

Yeah tried all of those and did some playing around with warp to, just not doing it mate?
I need it to be smooth like a egg on end rather than pointy, if you understand my request?
