Changing a color to specific color in picture.

Hello,

I hoped this was easy.

I want to change the pink color in the picture below to color #191919.

But when I used the brush replacement tool the color didn't change to this color but to another grey color.


Anyone have tips and want to share how replace this color?

that is the purple and the other color mixed together.
i would first select the purple using the "Color Range" under the selection menu.
then add the color you want to that selection but on its own layer.
blur that layer a bit so it blend in the the other colors.
