Hi all,

If I had a photo of someone wearing a British flag (for example) around their neck like a scarf but wanted to replace that with a US one (for example), how would I do that? I think that all the wrinkling in the cloth would make this very difficult indeed!

BY THE WAY: Creative Cloud CS6 only!

Thanks!

Check the web for a matching picture, copy it to your working file and mask out the person to reveal the person below. Now you can use Transform/Warp to fit the scarf to you subject.
Nowadays, lots of AI apps out there that will probably do the job.

Maybe post your picture here with details as to what you want the final to look like and I'm certain that you will get a bunch of tries.

Best way is to find a good high-res image of the US flag with similar folds or texture, then use the Displace filter to wrap it onto the scarf shape. After that, play around with blending modes (Overlay/Multiply) and layer masks to make the wrinkles show through.
