circular shape with stroke but no fill

hi
i am comparatively new to photoshop. how do i make a circular which has a border, say 2 pix but it has no fill or the fill is transparent or something like that. can anyone tell me how to do this

All you'll need to do is grab the circular marquee tool (upper left of the tools pallette) and hold shift while drawing your selection. Once the size is right go Edit > Stroke and enter your settings. Hit ok and you've got yourself a stroked circle.
