Hi,

I have been admiring the work of photojournalist Zoriah Miller recently and have come across a few of his photos which seem to have this interesting effect. Does anyone here know how its achieved? Thanks.

It's called HDR photography for High Dynamic Range. Do a search on Google for a plethora of tutorials.
