Conflict between Photoshop and my GeForce graphics software

When I try to use the CTRL>ALT>Z to perform a multiple correction, it also invokes a response from my graphics board software (GeForce), interfering with my attempt to do the multiple correction. I am not sure what to do, as sometimes I start doing something and perform the operation a few times before realizing that it isn't what I want. Is there any other alternative to invoking the "multiple" corrections operation which might be a "work around" for this graphic software problem?

Hi

What do you mean by this "it also invokes a response from my graphics board software (GeForce)"
Also what version of PS

I agree with Ged that a little more info would be useful.

You could of course have the history panel open and step back using that.

Hi, gedstar. To try and answer your questions, I get a page that comes up on my monitor that is asking me to do something for my graphics software. This "graphics" page overlays the Photoshop page making it inaccessible. I then have to press the "X" in the upper right corner of the "graphics" page to cancel it to get back to my Photoshop work. This page comes up every time I try to do a multiple correction.

I tried to get a screen shot, but the response from the graphics software covers the screen and prevents access to the screen capture software, but I will try again, if this needs further clarification. I am running Photoshop CC 2017.

Go to preferences/performance and untick the use graphics processor for testing if the problem is resolved.

I was posting John when your post appeared. I was just saying that I think this is probably a GeForce software issue.

You could roll back the latest update too.
I'm not a gamer so I stopped updating the GeForce software at one point.

You can disable it take a look here
http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answ...-the-geforce-experience-share-in-game-overlay

Unless you are a gamer there's no need to install GeForce Experience, I do a custom clean install and uncheck GeForce Experience from the options

I rolled back to this driver
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/123227/en-us

Nvidia broke this in PS with their latest updates

I would say it is a conflict of interest and probably a GeForce issue. It may be that the only solution for now is to use the History and step back that way. I will also notify Nvidia that the GeForce Experience component is causing me some grief and see what type of response I get.

So did they break it, or is the initial cure that you note still valid?

What you're seeing in the screenshot you provided is the ability for gamers to share screen grabs of their games during game play, this feature was added sometime ago to the Geforce Experience, if you're not a gamer you don't need Geforce Experience installed

Nivida broke the Path Blur tool as I mentioned in the third link I posted and that's why I went back to an older driver

In an e-mail exchange with Nvidia, they knew about the "problem" as GeForce uses ALT>Z to invoke the GeForce Experience page and suggested that I could change the Photoshop CTRL>ALT>Z to something else. I changed it to CTRL>ALT>Q and that seems to work okay - problem resolved - I hope. My thanks to all who suggested things to explore.
