I am trying to create an animated gif by modifying multiple layers of an image in Photoshop, then opening the image in ImageReady to customize the animation. However, when I open the image in ImageReady, I get an error message: "Could not read Adobe ImageReady specific data because slices were in an unsupported format." Consequently I am unable to "make frames from layers" in the animation pallette of ImageReady.

Does anybody know what the problem is here? The file is in .psd format, which does support layers.

Thanks for any and all advice!

Re: Could not readImageReady specific data because slices were in an unsupported form

are you using the PS 7.0 ??? if yes you should then try to open the file with a newer version of PS, and i recommend the CS4 or CS5 version, maybe that ur version of PS isn't compatible with the file ..
Good Luck
