Haven't seen this on the forum on from searching on the web. Is there a way to create a desktop background from a small low-res. image? I didn't want it to tile and I wanted it to fit the entire screen. I've looked on the web and it just seems to offer trial software to do it and you have to be on a PC to use those software....I use a Mac :D Any thoughts??

Hi Stick. Welcome to the forums. You do have Photoshop, I presume. Recently a friend sent me a 200 x 300 pixel image (or something like that... it was very small) and asked me to make a desktop image out of it.

The circumstances were very much like what you are facing. What I did was to resize the image until it was really starting to look bad. I put a border around it, made a background quickly of a wood layer style and placed two more copies of the original image to help fill up the real estate.

My friend was happy with the result. Here's what it looked like.
