hey forum!

can someone point me to a tutorial or info. in reference to creating slices in PS to use as "buttons" on a website? i want to make buttons to click on that jump to specific pages on a website (i think i know the HTML coding, but i don't know specifically HOW to make a slice).

do i make the slice in PS first and then jump to ImageReady?

thanks in advance!
:)

You can do this in Imageready, but I don't.
I simply drag guides in PS where I want to slice, and then, with Snap on, I drag selections, edit>cropand save these with a name that indicates place, and size.
Then I create a table in HTML with celles of the size of the slices and insert the images in the cells.

But, yes, IR generates code and everything for you, that's true.
