CS2 problem

I just installed CS2 and the wierdestr thing is happening. I can't make the paint brush or the eraser work using my Wacom mouse but it will work if I use the sylus. Anybody have an answer for this \:/ Thanks

Is the stylus laying on the tablet (or very close) when you try to use the mouse?

I usually keep it in stand of the front of the tablet
