Hey all- im new to this forum and am hoping for some help. Ive looked through MANY tutorials on chrome effects/text and so far, this is what i have created. Ive played around with the layer styles (gradient/bevel/inner shadow/stroke) but i just dont feel like it reads like chrome enough. It doesnt stand out and if i use a black background, it washes out the 360. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Jon.

the best advise I could give would be; study some chrome, really look at it and see what it is doing. here's a hint, A) it reflects whatever is around it. B) it distorts the reflected image so that it conforms to the shape of the chrome object. C) it has NO color or texture of it's own. ;)

attached is a quick sample of what I'm talking about. You can put a lot more into it.

you can also do some bevel and curve modifications for some great chrome effects. then adding
reflected images will create some impressive chrome textures.

hope this gives you some ideas.-RM
