Most of us here on this forum use the desktop version of Ps. For me personally, I would never have a need for the phone app. I just don't see any reason to have both. I don't think the app would harm your phone, but I wouldn't know how well it will function having never used the app on an Android phone.

I am suing the app. I know that I reply a bit late to this thread but the app is very nice. the picture on my profile is made with the app.
