Drying prints

.Can anyone help, please; I am lost !
My black-and-white prints will not dry after more than three days from printing date. This has never happened to me before.

Have checked my ink levels, and they are ok.

Could it be that my ink cartridge has been in the printer too long?

I use Photoshop CS6 and an HP 3-in-1 printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 2136.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you for prompt reply, but the paper I use has always been, and still is, HP glossy photo paper.
And I never had any problems with drying, which usually takes not more than 24 hours.

Assuming the cartridges are original you can try a test print with the medium set at normal paper.
When I was printing (once, long ago..) I never did choose glossy nor photopaper because HP uses way too much ink in that modus.
That's as far as my knowledge go's about printing...
