Filters edit drop down list of filters

I would like to delete a number of entries in the drop down filters menu. I know I can edit the keyboard shortcuts but that page doesn't permit rearranging or editing the list. I don't want to loose the filters concerned, just not clutter the drop down menu. Could I instead create my own selective filters menu?

Hi bwalix
Yes you can do this.
Edit > Menus opens up the application menus

From there you scroll down the Main menu item you want to change (specifically Filters in your case) and then just click the "eye" icons to turn off visibility of the ones you don't want to see. This can be done for submenus as well. You don't lose anything because it adds a menu item at the bottom of the list allowing you to expand temporarily back to the full list.
I think this should do it for you and hope this helps
