so ive been looking at lots of different tutorials, mainly just to learn how to use photoshop.. i came across this tutorial...

i finished it and decided to change a few things, bare in mind it is my first time trying something like this, tell me what you think..

It look good for a first attempt..... well done. I have 3 comments.

The shoreline - make the line thinner and it doesn't have to be a continues line. You can even fade some parts. There's one in the center which to me is a bit to curvy.

You've added ripples... that's good. But make use of the ripples to distort the sun's reflection.

Adjust the len's flare position as it would appear on a camera shot which would be slightly higher and off-centre in the image.

Just my 2 cents.... lol...
