Specific Fix/Clean up scan of 70s model?

This is a scan of two pages of media from the 70s. I've tried tinkering with it, but it's just beyond me.

If you're so inclined, could you:

1. Fix the ring binder holes.
2. Adjust the exposure/black levels to a more appealing level.
3. Get rid of as much of the film/printing grain as possible.

Assuming that the topic is probably irrelevant and therefore no better scan is forthcoming, here is at least an excerpt from my incomplete edit.
