How do you make Fractal Images?

Because you can also make fractal like images in photoshop quite easily too.

Here is a site with a good list of fractal generators and similar software, sometimes with images as examples.
I go through phases using fractals, the more control over the iterations and parameters I have, the happier I am.
There are quite a few people at DA I know like and used fractals like JaquelineD.
