glossy shoe

i found a picture online of a shoe,it is kinda glossy plastic or glossy fabric,so im wondering how to add that effect to shoes.

well, if you look at just the fabric, you can see its basicly adding a white shope on top, with some oppacity.
most important is to make the curves of the shape look realistic, like it comes from one light source, can be verry tricky to get that shape right

All i see are two shoes with a plastic coating highly buffed for the photo shoot.

It is what it is mate, you could try placing the water effects over an image or maybe the plastic wrap. But in all honesty this is a picture with shoes that are plastic coated prior to shoot.
