you know what? fine it's obvious you don't want to know and i don't belong here. until i find a reason to come back goodbye!

relax Z, you as well as anyone else that does graphics should well know images are very subjective. Personally that image does nothing for me so I looked and thought it best to just click on to next subject. Sometimes one's work gets critiqued sometimes it doesn't sometimes it gets a laugh sometimes it doesn't........ just roll with the punches, you have your own talent/style...(keep on chopping)...... don't be so sensitive.

LOL.... take it easy, man.... like iDad said, it's a matter of taste..... and who's on the board.

I'ts not that we don't appreciate your work but what's to comment if oldies like iDad and me don't know what to comment..... best we leave it to the others.....

But your image looks cool.... maybe tone down the contrast abit more.....

I honestly do not see what you did with the picture, ok you added the background ( did you, made bacground ?) That X across his chest. What is it?a little more description of what you were doing would not hurt :)

so much for one of my better pieces, once again, little spark of confidence, then dead.
i was trying to be sparing. there's been toning, painting, cut out the model slapped it all together and hoped, and yet again, my hopes were oh so very wrong!
that took my stupid brain 2 hours to process.

luna, if you are going to say that then at least make some suggestions as to what i should do next, otherwise i can't make it better, you know what i mean?

Stick with your FPS images, and branch out from there.

You'll probably have more fun working on them anyway.

Or take some pics and photoshop those!

thanks agent, but sometimes i feel it's best for me, and everyone else. if i try a different approach from time to time.

There's no need to do anything except what you think will improve or get what you're after with it, That's whats so great about graphics, it's an endless stream of ideas process

yeah it's a shame my mind doesn't process the ideas process on the same level :P well it obviously needs something or i wouldn't be sitting here thinking "what the f*** am i doing here?"

No doubt. Don't sweat the reactions on this forum. It's way too random.

There used to NOT be an internet, and everyone managed just fine. Do whatever you want to do at your own pace. Not caring about others' opinions can be very liberating.

hhmm good point, sometimes i just like the reassurance, i know it sounds selfish, but usually i get unsure of whether it's a good job or not. but next time i make a wallpaper i'll make sure i don't post it up, i've got one wallpaper i made yesterday to get up. then i will go to being a bit shut off see if i feel any better for it.

I know what you mean. Still, you just trust your own work. If you like it, thats all that matters.
