I didn't checked his ID to see how young/old it was but yes indeed its a bird. I don't know the English name for it but it had a ring and most probably escaped...to end up with us. Of course my wife fed him and he stayed for a week or so and as you can see he felt at home quickly...
Bird was also the first idea of argos but he choose duster...
