Hello everyone. I found your site while searching for a particular technique I'm trying to learn. I'm very excited to start reading through the thousands of posts and tutorials to enhance my admittedly limited Photoshop skills.
That said, I'm an architect by profession and in architectural school is when I first was introduced to Photoshop. I've never taken any courses, rather, I am self-taught as a necessity to create project displays and presentation boards.
As time has went on, I've found that knowing how to use Photoshop in even the most basic capacity is an invaluable tool in my day-to-day life. Case in point, aside from using it at work, I 'paint' cars for an online racing simulation game, iRacing. Basically, they provide a 1024x1024 car template and then I use Photoshop (and the pen tool heavily) to either create original artwork/designs or recreate a car from the real world (think NASCAR, IndyCar, etc.).
My sense of humor tends to be on the dry side, so please, don't take me serious most of the time.
I look forward to getting involved here and my first question will be posted shortly!
Thanks,
Landon
