All in the title really!

It seems a huge waste of space to display all this into in the tab esp when you have a lot open

I dont need to know the zoom, color profile, if there are smart objects embedded..

How do I turn this off!?

This has been suggested on a regular basis to Adobe by several users over the years. I do not think they addressed it yet.

If you go to Edit>Preferences>Workspace you have the option of unchecking "Open documents as Tabs" which will leave each open document as a floating window. Tabs are a better option, I think.

Thanks very much, I appreciate the quick reply

It must be such an easy thing for them to do , or at least give the option to have on or off, ah well

Thanks again
