Help in photoshopping.. Much appreciated

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you could help me out here. I tried to do it myself but couldn't make it look good. Can anyone photoshop the lines in the shirt from red to purple, and orange to gray? Thanks so much.

1) make a hue/saturation adjustment layer
2) adjust the hue on the red menu to make it purple
3) adjust the hue and lightness sliders in the yellow menu to make the gray
4) on the mask paint with black everywhere you don't want the adjustment layer applied.
