[Ctrl + n] with a uniform background colour

new layer [Ctrl + shift + n]name it "base"

[m] round selection press [Shift] [height: 99px width: 99px].

foreground: #343434 background: #CACACA]

[g] vertical linear gradient in the selection press [Shift] to have it straight. the dark colour is up


save the selection then

[Select/modify/contract] 2pix

new layer

"feather" selection 3px,


press [d] then [x].


radial gradient from foreground (white) to transparant from the lower side to 1/3 up.

inverse selection and set glow layer to overlay mode


Reflection:




load base selection

contract 2px [Select/modify/contract].

New layer "reflection"

same gradient as higher up but linear and from top to bottom


transform [Ctrl + t]

1 - take lower end and bring it up

2 - make a tad less wide


Miove a few pixels so that the grad doesn't touch the borders


this should give you something like this image:???


let's do the details now:



Double click on base layer>layer styles


1 -Drop shadow]

# Mode: Multiply

# Opacity: 25%

# Angle: 90

# Distance: 4px

# Size: 5px


2 - [Inner shadow]

# Mode: Multiply

# Opacity: 90%

# Angle: 90

# Distance: 0px

# Size: 27px


3 - [Inner glow] :

# Mode: Color

# Opacity: 78%

# Color:(#7C8494 for example)

# Size: 5px


Click ok . That's all !
