Help on designing a "holder" .

So far, I have created the black utensil holder in Photoshop.. The utensils were vector drawings..

Right now, I wanted to create the effect in which the utensils are somewhat "hooked" to the black utensil holder.

I am thinking of a simple curved object for this, but can't seem to achieve this in PS..

Can anyone help ?

Put the ends on circles (with a hole at the end of the object) and rotate the cricles to make it look like its hanging from the rack ?
