Help PLzzz Cutting out image!!!

:{ Hi all Im new to the PH thing and wanted to make an text image for a game cclan I just joined. I had not idea how to do it so I went to youtube and looked at a step by step video to help. After an hour or more I did it

Here is my prob I wanted to cut the text image from the background so I could use it as a logo, I palyed with all the tools and I just can't get it right. Is there anyone here who I can send the image to so u can cut it out for me plzz???

Have you tried using the "Magnetic Lasso Tool" and the "Magic Eraser Tool" together to grab the area you want to save and erase the background behind it. That is definitely one way to do it. You can find a tutorial on it here http://www.adobesoftwaretutorials.com/PhotoshopBackgroundEraser.html
