Help with Action: Copying a group from one doc to another...

Here's what I want to do:

1) Open a pic
2) Copy a group called "layers" from one group to the pic I've just opened.

The problem I'm having is that the action dialogue only records me switching between documents, but not the copying of the group. Help?

Welcome FML Photography.
I don't think it's possible. Obviously it doesn't work (I tested it myself), but I don't see any other way to copy a group than just dragging it. A script might do the job, but the guys at http://www.ps-scripts.com/ are better at scripts then I ever will be.
Another option might be to use a macro program like http://www.autohotkey.com/ .
