Help with cleaning up curves.

I just wanted to ask if anyone could help me with any suggestions with cleaning up a curved line?


Example;





I wanted to get the curved line evened out and clean like the straight line below it.

The best way to kae a curve like that is with the pen tool, then stroke it.
