So I'm basically recoloring a previously made image (videogame render, to be precise), and I find myself stuck on the eyebrow- and eyecolor in the render. The rest of the thing went pretty smoothly. I was wondering;

1) as the eyebrows are blue and Inverting it creates a nice shade of blonde, is there any way to use an Invert Brush of some sort, so I don't have to first exclude the areas I want to Invert?

2) is there any easy way to change eye color without affecting the surrounding image?

If I were you, I'd make the eyebrows a selection (or their own layer) with whichever tool you prefer (ie: pen tool, lasso, magnetic lasso, polygonal lasso eraser, elliptical marquee, magic wand). Then just invert the selection to get your eyebrows.

For the eyes... I'd say the easiest way I can think of would be zooming in really close on the eye, then using a small, hard brush with the blending mode set to color.
