Help with replacing background

Hey guys what up? I really want to thanks aging for your help it helped me so much! I have attached to this thread 2 photos, 1 - original picture 2 - the background that I would like to apply. if you can guide me how to replace the background in the most effective way so it looks real... thank you a bunch!

That one hopefully would be pretty simple, assuming you don't want the text on the print. Just use either the magic wand or quick selection tool to select the white outside of the subjects. The enter the Delete key or Edit/ Clear. That will give you a transparent background. Set your brick layer behind this one and you should have it.

you will have to do this in 2 to 3 steps step 1 is bring your wall exposure down

And then you will need 2 copies of the people

copy 1 right click it in layers pallet and select blending options - 1st window you should see a blend if
making sure the other copy of this layer is not visible then move the white sliders in yes you will be removing a lot of detail you will want to bring back ie the shirt and the kids shorts.

Once the white has been eliminated then show the duplicate layer apply a layer mask and press control + I to invert the mask

Then carefully paint in white where you need to bring the detail back

How good are you at masking? The better your selection is, the mask will follow, the better the mask edge, the better the blend will be. The edge is the key, as if it's not done correctly, you will see a halo, and the blend will look poor.
