Photoshop CS6
Windows 10 Home 64 b.

Part of my shootings is close ups of flora and other similar subject of this sort.
The weather of where I am living in is cloudy or overcast almost 2/3 of the days of a year.
Soft light is very good for flora images, but that's only sometimes.
Most of the times I shoot under cloudy or overcast skies.
Images look plain and dull.
I have been trying to add a bit of natural high light in the image, but it also adds haze.
Is it possible to add a bit of natural high light effect without the haze?
Shall appreciate your teaching.
Thanks.

you should upload a image of 1,42mb. Are you doing it with the insert image button? if not you can use a free storage web like dropbox.

OK here is an example of correcting a 'dull' image with using the curves tool.

Since you do have the camera raw filter you should use it.

I'll take this rather extreme picture:
Overcast-Sky.jpg

and use the camera raw filter (see picture below).
You'll have to adjust yourself depending on each picture!

in this case to get
