Hi!

I really like the structure of the blue area in these screen grabs. Please point me in the right direction...
Where do I start to achieve something like this?

thanks!
best regards
G

When you say structure, do you mean texture?

Yeah, sorry. That´s exactly what I mean... A bit to late in the evening over here. How do I change the tag?

Don't worry about it, it's fine. Do you have the actual image you would like to apply the texture to?

Which part would you like to apply the texture to, the white areas or the dark areas?

How much experience do you have with Photoshop?

The darker areas. I'm pretty experienced. But i dont have that much experience if working with textures. I've mainly been using PS for working on photos etc.

Ok,

This is one of many ways to accomplish this.

First, remove the white from the Infinity loop.

Locate the texture you would like to use. I did a Google Image search on blue paper texture.

Open the paper texture into the same document as the Infinity loop.
Place the the texture layer above the loop layer.
Clip the texture layer to the loop layer.
Add a white layer below the loop layer.

All that's left is some minor shading.
