How do i get from the first image to the second one?
it wud be very helpful if explained step by step.

I believe this image is manipulated in Lightroom.
With exposure or brightness brush, also a vignetting, some contrast... something like that.
Not complicated.

It can be done in a lot of different ways. But it shouldnt be too hard. A bunch of exposure tweaks, saturation, contrast maybe some dodge/burn etc etc like costisefu mentioned should get you there. Here's a sample file you can check out. Not the best pixel perfect match but its just a 5min job just to get you somewhere in the ballpark so you get an idea how to go about it.
