How to make these pixel patterns ?

How to make these pixel patterns? I attached the image and I highlighted the areas I am talking about. I know its pattern overlay. How to make them my own. I can find a lot of free patterns similar to it. But I would like to know how to make these patterns from scratch. Thank you

Hey.

Watch this video and make a pattern for both right and left slanting diagonal line patterns.

Be sure that your Line Tool is set to "PIXELS"
Also..........I prefer to use a transparent background when I make these patterns.

So..........if you have a graphic like this and you want to add in the diagonal lines in the corners.

Make a selection and fill with white.
Lower your fill to 0%...

Open a layer style/effects and use the "Pattern Overlay" with your pattern you just made...

Deselect.
Add a layer mask to clean up the end...

Lower the opacity. Done.
