Hey. Im making my own webpage, and got some trouble with my menu.

I want the text to see through the grey menu. The background color will change so I need the text to be transparent. I have tried Magic Wand but it makes the text grumsy :(

Can someone please help me!!!!!!!

It depends, is the text you are trying to work with on it's own layer?
If so, all you have to do is reduce the opacity on the text layer.

If the Background is on the same layer (one flat image)...
you could try removing the text and fixing the background to look like there was never any text there and creating a new layer and re-typing the text(so that you can manipulate the trasparency of that text alone.)

Hope this helps!!

***If you are trying to make a selection of the text in a flat image, perhaps you can try selecting the color only by clicking "SELECT" in the top menu and clicking "COLOR RANGE" and clicking where the text is. This will select the color of the text if it is one solid color. This might work better than the magic wand.**

I hope one of these options helps you achieve what you're trying to do.

Good Luck!

How do I load this into the Layer Styles? When I double click it, Photoshop opens but then nothing else. Do I need to import this somehow?

Hoogle preset? That looks awfully familiar,

1 of my presets admittedly copied from Brandon tutorials but lightened up and not as much emboss.

open up photoshop in the top right where you have colour swatches you will see a layer styles tab just drag the asi file into that tab from your desktop and you should see it
