I need help trying to make Pac Man.

So I first draw a yellow circle--no problem.

Then I get out the pen tool and make one end point on the outer edge of the circle--no problem. Then I make another one near the center of the circle--no problem. Then I make a third point end point at the outer end point and this is what happens:

Why is this happening? How do I set more than three end points with the pen tool?

The pen tool goes straight one point to the next if you are extended further on the outside perimeter of that yellow you should be all set Or just Make a shake shape to extend over yellow

Are you are you using fill or stroke If you made that shape with your pen tool change it to selection then delete

I don't understand what you are trying to have me do.
