Namvet and SCync. Here's another molding. As you can see, the center of the background grid ISN'T pinching in.
Quite the opposite, it's bulging out. Easily done with 'liquify'. The secret is to trick the eye with shadows. Use the sphere for the shadow by copying it, put the layer behind the orig, make it black, enlarge it some and add a gaussian blur. The perception is that the grid is tapering 'in' because that's what it should be doing. ;)

I'll give it a go, I think some shadow at the base of this would give it some needed depth I may want the sphere to pop though ??????

thanks for that ronmatt .. I had tried out liquify but had used the 'Pucker Tool' ... and that's why it wasn't working :)

yep, that's what it's called Alistair ... it's above the Bloat Tool in Liquify :)

Are my old eyes deceiving me? the drop shadow appears to be growing the longer I look at it :D
Well done!

the drop shadow appears to be growing the longer I look at it
Does the same thing to me too, when I stare at it too long. [confused]
It's an optical illusion. :}
