Hi,
I don't consider myself a Photoshop newbie, but this issue is really annoying to me and I'm seeking some answers/advice.
So here it goes: I've got an indexed .png that I want to modify. Before I can do so, I have to set the mode to RGB, which I do. But when I do so, the image becomes all jagged and ugly-looking, as if the borders had lost their transparency. Is there any way that I can modify an indexed picture without this happening? Because if I only want to change the hue, I've got to do a lot of work on the image for something that would take thirty seconds. And since I'm talking about icons (not .ico files, these are .png), this happens way too often.
Any help is welcomed! Thanks!
