Is there a way to do this in Photoshop?

I am wondering if any of you can tel me if you can do something like this in photoshop.

Let's say you shot a picture with your camera!

Then you add some objects and shot the same picture but with the new objects too.

Can you remove in photoshop the portions of the second picture that are the same in the first picture so that only the new objects remain?

Thanks!

Regards,
Marian

Hi LoveKey!
There are a number of ways to do this and which one is best depends on the nature of your project. What is it you want to do this for ? Perhaps a description would help. Is it an animation where you want the original objects to fade into the other objects ?

Let me explain a little better! Let's say I shot a picture of a tree!
Then my sister stays beside the tree and I shot the same picture but with my sister in it!
How can I remove from the second picture the portions of image that appear in the first picture too so that only my sister remains and I can use her in another picture?

On itouch but a section of your sister copy and paste sounds as if that's all you need

I still don't get why your taking two different photo's if your able to use what you originally liked in the first photo or if you are only editing one photo lol...

If you are asking how to remove something from a photo and put it on another then that is easy. Use the pen tool to cut the object or person out and put them on what ever photo you want..

How can you take the exact same photo unless you leave a tripod set up and place your camera in the exact spot again. If your trying to get all four seasons of the exact shot that would make sense to me. The pen tool is your best tool for this. What version of Photoshop you using?
