But I can not for the life of me remember where. I'm wondering what brush settings do I use to get the brush to fade into a point? And I believe it faded at the that point too.
 
Further investigating. I found that in CS5 in the brush panel, check the "Transfer" box, and set the dynamic control for opacity to fade - 50 and the minimum to 0%, and set the dynamic control for flow to fade - 50 and the minimum to 0% and it will fade your line to transparent. and that answers my question. I suppose I should have looked before I leaped.

I also noticed it only works if you stroke from left to right or right to left. It does not work from top to bottom or visa versa. CHEERS
