I know i know, another dark wallpaper.

BUT this one is a bit more out of my comfort zone in the sense that i've never tried implementing a Jet Fighter into any of my artwork as the main basis in this way. and it's not black and blue it's more of a black on orange/red sort of color scheme instead :P

Let me know your thoughts ;)

P.S i know the overlay over the plane is unsharp. it's because of the warping involved, all masking was done by hand too ;)

I really like this Alex. And the unsharpness works great. I like the quote, I like the colors, the torpedo, the texture below which looks like a barely discernible ground ... NICE. One of your best.

thank you Clare! :) the background is a bump map of a ground texture, so you are right on the money there ;)
i'm glad the missile looks okay, and the unsharpness, i was worried that they may throw the image off, as the missile doesn't fully agree with the perspective :P

thanks hoog! ;) ight try and turn that into a sig actually :P not sure whether it would work though :/

Nice image manipulation, and creativity!
And, I see you have managed to make that into a signature.
Good job.

Theres a blocky blur around the missile, also the flames at the rear could do with a little edge softening just make things look less pasted on.
Nice colours though, and a great idea for a wallpaper/siggy.

the blur's meant to be like that Paul ;) the flames are a little hard to soften as there's a very annoying blend mode in place, but I'll see what i can do. thanks

looks nice :) It's been long ago since I had another wallpaper :)
