Layout breaks apart when slicing

After I slice a layout im workin on, (links, main content), the layout breaks up and looks like puzzle pieces that need to go back where they were. How do I correct this problem??

Could you give a few more details bags?

Are you having a problem with PS's or IR's html page it saves? etc etc... :)
 
Actually ya Doc that does sound like the case come to think of it.

Is that the problem Bags? Check your code.
 
i have the same problem and its not the border(i have the border set to 0). it looks fine in dreamweaver but when i press F12 to display. it shows up on the display all broken up. any ideas?
