Lightening up

I had about twenty seconds to take this picture last night but only to notice it is rather dark due to the limited lighting in that area. I have tried various settings in Lightroom to brighten it up enough to see the moon and the building in the foreground but the pictures just come out to grainy and a slight purple look. Does anyone have any ideas on what i can do for this?

what setting would you suggest for this picture? it was about 9pm yesterday and a little cloudy. i have a canon T1i with a 400mm lens for that picture.

manual mode 30 second shutter release possibly just put it in bulb mode upto 5 mins shutter time depending if it is dark or not around about f8 to f11 yet again depending on how dark it is

You're not going to do this with a single exposure if you want detail in the moon.
You can shoot the moon at around f8 1/100th of a second.
For the building start with Hoogle's numbers and experiment.
