hi. i'm tryin to come up with a cool logo for a portfolio. my idea is to have a bunch of shading and erased from the shading will be the letters CV and a tip of a pencil will be shown erasing part of the V. below , the words creative visions will be shown, erased and in cursive text. my other idea is to just have the words creative visions erased from the pencil shading and have an image of a lightbulb erased below. any ideas or suggestions? thanks
 
please guys , i really value ur opinion on this. i'm tryin to develop a portfolio and could use any tips or advice u can give me.
 
just briefly, I'd say give it a try, and put up a pic of the results, let us figure out from there, if it's what WE like. You have to live with whatever you pick though. We're glad to give input especially based on what we are shown.
 
I agree with ricib, critiqeing an idea of a visual in written form is sorta like reading html code and knowing what a website looks like. Sketch something out, scan it and present it for review. Then we have something to shoot at
