Hello everyone!

I have just set up my first website and was up till the early hours last night trying to make a clever little logo. I think i did it accidentally by just flipping letters about. Im really happy with it but there are just a few tiny niggling bits which are stopping me uploading it to the site.

Here is the logo as it stands:

I dont know if you can zoom in to see maybe i did it too small. Basically the j and the flipped t that make up the A dont quite line up. Everytime i try and drag it exactly under it feels like PS "snaps" it to either side, even when i zoom in a huge amount. Also I was wondering a bout how to blend the colours, they are different layers each with a different gradient. Is it easy to blend between layers?.

Thanks for any help guys, i have been looking at tutorials but have not been able to find much regarding this.

Jack.

Welcome, JTAudio.

Sounds like you got "SNAP TO" enabled. I'll give you a choice. If you want to disenable SNAP, just press CTRL + SHIFT + ; .....

But you might need SNAP . So simply press CTRL and click drag the layer object. SNAP is temporarily off.

Forgot your second question.... BLEND? As in mixing colors or making the lowering layer opacity?

Go to the layer pallette. Lower the layer's opacity slider.

Or you might mean changing the layers Mode... In Layer Palette, select a mode from the dropdown list.

Hope this helps.

Maybe it's me with a corrupted mind, but your logo doesn't look right, if you know what I mean.

To change colors, you could use adjustment layers, and clip them.
