I would like to make a brush that is very hard edged. eg. I want to be able to erase(or paint for that matter) just one pixel, and have a hard edge (no soft edge on the surrounding pixels)

Anyone know how to do this?

Ok, I found it, use the pencil tool settings right?

For one pixel erasure I use the smallest non aliased square brush in normal paintbrush mode.Reduce opacity to around 8 - 15% and zoom in as far as you can and just chip away at the edges of your errant pixel and I find it erases the middle as well without touching the surrounding pixels, takes a bit of practise but its worth it once you get the hang of it :D
