Missing Basic tab in Photoshop CC 20.0.6

I am missing the panel that was the default(?) when I installed PS last week. The panel was on the left of the screen and showed sliders for Exposure, Contrast, Highlights etc as well as sections for curves.
If I try to open the adjustments window I get the adjustments for layers, which I dont want.
Could a Guru point me in the right direction on how to get back this panel please?

Hello and welcome. I'm not at all sure what you're talking about.

Just go to WINDOW and check on and off all of the available panel options until you find the one you're looking for. Be sure and let us know, I'm very curious as to what it might be.
